Registration for Multimodal 2013 has opened

Registration for Multimodal has gone live, as top speakers sign up for seminars. The exhibition is already 95% sold out

Multimodal, the UK and Ireland’s leading supply chain event, has gone live with registration at www.multimodal.org.uk

Visitors can sign for the free-to-attend exhibition, as well as topical seminar and master-class sessions at the NEC Birmingham, 23rd to the 25th of April.
“Multimodal is a one-stop-shop for shippers who need to find ways of optimising their supply chain and transportation flows," said show director Robert Jervis.
“The exhibition is already 95% sold out, and we are pleased that the Shipper’s Pavilion, which offers freight customers a private space to meet their logistics partners has proved popular again. “We are delighted to have attracted a wide range of leading speakers to cover some important issues facing today’s freight buyers.”

Seminar sessions, held in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Freight Transport Association (FTA), will cover tangible topics, including freight rates, contracts, carbon reduction schemes, Customs compliance, financing supply chains and modal shift.
Speakers include the FTA’s Chris Welsh, David Gaughan from Kerry Logistics, Andy Benson from Barclays, and Mark Corby from Invensys, as well as presenters from Norbert Dentressangle and DB Schenker.

A full list will be released at the end of January

"A link to our on-line survey gathering visitor feedback on what topics we should include in the sessions will be live on our home page until the end of January," said Jervis. Multimodal 2013 will welcome leading logistics and supply chain names, including BoxTop Technologies, Freightliner, UFS Freight Services, Stena Line and Montracon. Last year’s Shippers’ Village saw Dunelm Mill, Coca-Cola, Ericsson, Cabot, Kellogg’s, Mars, Tesco, and Jaguar Land Rover take advantage of dedicated offices to hold invaluable supplier meetings. "It is not too late to sign up for the Village," said Jervis. "Interested shippers can contact me to book a space".
