Major new developments for 2014

New to Multimodal this year are exhibitors including Palletline, Gazeley, Unsworth, 3t Logistics, TTS, Total Oil, Manchester Airport Group and Cronus Logistics who join regular exhibiting companies CEVA, Dachser, DB Schenker, DSV, GEFCO, Howard Tenens, Malcolm Logistics, PD Ports, Stena Line, Freightliner, DP World and Wincanton – to name just a few. All of whom can help you find ways of optimising your supply chain and transportation flows, helping you improve your efficiencies and save resources.

Dedicated pavilions on the exhibit floor will put you directly in touch with companies offering bespoke solutions to your needs, from Air Cargo, FSDF: focusing on food and drink logistics, Logistics Leaders Network, to the largest yet, UKWA Pavilion.

Multimodal 2014 will also play host to industry meetings including the Rail Freight Group, Leaders in Supply Chain, CILT and Women in Logistics.

Another first this year will be the ELUPEG meeting at Multimodal and all attendees are invited. The theme is ‘Multimodal Transport and Collaboration in the Supply Chain’ and will feature speakers from the Stobart Group and Ford with case studies from Boots and Premier Foods. ELUPEG is the only European organisation whose sole focus is the fostering of logistics collaboration.

Complimentary meeting areas in the Shippers’ Village, available for cargo owners to hold private meetings with suppliers, are proving very popular once again. Signed up already include SAB Miller, Boots, Jaguar Land Rover, Dunelm and Sears.

Multimodal provides a one-stop-shop where you can find all your freight solutions under one roof, plus you can take advantage of the free to attend seminars and hear first-hand the experiences of your peers, including the Co-operative, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Collect+, ByBox and Unipart.

The seminars are brought to you by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and the Freight Transport Association, with something to help everyone run a slicker supply chain.

This year too we are also launching an Air Freight Seminar Stream in association with The Loadstar, tackling key trends and issues in the industry and focusing on a new FTA report into UK air freight shippers’ needs.

Trade Extensions will once again be offering visitors the opportunity of taking part in the classic supply chain simulation – the MIT Beer Game.

Co-located with Multimodal at the NEC for this year only, is the Commercial Vehicle Show where we have arranged for visitors to Multimodal to have access to the CV Show using their Multimodal badge.

We hope you agree that there are a whole host of reasons to visit Multimodal 2014, plus it’s free to attend, quick and simple to register, click this link and quote priority code MME4 now!
