IJS Global GEFCO UK has been granted a Wholesale Dealer Authorisation (WDA) by the UK Regulatory Body, the MHRA, for its operations at the London Heathrow site with immediate effect. Good Distribution Practice (GDP) status was also awarded to IJS Global GEFCO NL in April this year, and shows that the company fulfils strict pharmaceutical requirements of the European Commission and the World Health Organization.

Internationally accepted GDP guidelines play a key role in assuring the transport and distribution of medicinal products for human use does not adversely impact product quality and integrity. IJS Global GEFCO’s operations in the Netherlands already have WDA certification. Both countries are now able to store medicinal products in full compliance of EU regulations.
