GateHouse Logistics opens US operations

Four lane controlled-access highway in Poland
Logistics data unifier and aggregator GateHouse Logistics A/S today announced that it has opened a US operation bringing Europe’s most secure data distribution service ghTrack to America’s supply chain. The US business is based in Chicago under the management of industry veteran Bob Martin.
GateHouse Logistics’ move to extend its operations to the US market is timely. After 2018, all trucks in America will be required to install electronic logging devices (ELDs) and the secure handling of data, tour definition and data sovereignty will become business-critical issues.
The ghTrack service aggregates and unifies all tracking data. This Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) cloud platform is compatible with all enterprise systems and brings transparency to the entire logistics supply chain for the first time in Europe and now the US. It leads the way for all involved in manufacturing and supply to become connected through Industry 4.0 technology and to generate competitive business advantage.
“The logistics industry is moving into the smart connected era and visibility and sharing of logistics data is paramount for business efficiency,” says Jesper Bennike, CEO GateHouse Logistics. “We believe that our ghTrack technology will help all in the US logistics industry to better control, visualise and rationalise the mountains of data involved in the supply chain and to achieve Industry 4.0 levels of business efficiency.”
GateHouse Logistics A/S is leading the way that data is securely shared across the entire supply chain, bringing with it much-needed transparency of inbound and outbound logistics. Its smart groundbreaking ghTrack platform is hardware agnostic and compatible with all telematics systems.
