AYS delivers international services following demand

Now providing international services across the globe

A UK logistics and road freight specialist has expanded its services in line with customer demand and is now providing international services across the globe.

AYS Logistics has launched a new international shipping service to facilitate the import and export of goods for customers all over the world. The company is now able to manage air, sea and road travel, providing an international network to 220 countries, which can be tailored to suit the speed of transit required and the products involved.

The company, which is headquarted in the West Midlands with its own extensive warehousing facilities, is able to offer international deliveries on a time-critical or standard delivery basis. AYS Logistics is also offering free shipment tracking and informing customers when their package arrives at its destination through text, phone and online notifications.

The expansion of services comes as a response to increasing customer demand for international freight services. The company had previously provided international services upon request but Commercial Director, Duncan Foyle, said it was a logical choice to make this a dedicated service.

“We are well placed to provide international delivery services from our headquarters in the Midlands as we are close to all major transport routes in and out of the UK. Through our strategic partner network we are able to deliver on time to countries all over the globe. And thanks to our recent investment in the latest technology, we are also able to notify our customers of the status of their order, at any time.”

AYS Logistics already provides courier, delivery and warehouse services throughout the UK, offering same day delivery, overnight parcel and pallet delivery and warehouse facilities and management. Over the past six months the company has diversified to provide a number of deliveries overseas, exporting bone china crockery to Mexico, France and the Caribbean, recycled waste to Denmark, and even watches to Switzerland. The company has also enabled clients to import barbecue briquettes from Holland, silver cutlery from Turkey and industrial machinery from Holland.

Duncan Foyle says that this new service offering will enable AYS Logistics to provide a complete logistics solution to businesses everywhere.

He added: “It doesn’t matter if a company is shipping parcels or pallets, where they need them to go, or when they need them to arrive, we have the skills and experience to deliver on time, every time. We are always at the service of our customers and will continue to diversify and expand our services in line with customer demand.”
