Air Charter Service makes top 30 of Sunday Times Top Track 250 list

Air Charter Service

Aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has been placed 29th in The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 list, with the company’s sales growing by 39% to £479 million.
Since it was first released in 2004, the list has ranked Britain’s top 250 mid-market private companies by their turnover from the previous year, based on published accounts.
Founded in 1990, the company boasts 23 worldwide office across all six major continents, offering private jet, commercial airliner and cargo aircraft charters, as well as onboard courier solutions.
Making its debut appearance on the league table in 2011 at number 158, Air Charter Service had previously been earmarked as ‘One to Watch’ two years before being included in the list.
ACS Group CEO, Justin Bowman, commented: “We have featured on the list several times now, but to be in the top 30 is an amazing feat. It is recognition of our hard work and continued growth over the past few years and we are delighted with our new position as the highest placed aviation company and to rank above so many well-known brands.”
ACS finished higher placed than football clubs Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea and household names such as Waterstones, David Lloyd Leisure, Caffè Nero and Dreams. The 250 companies named on the list have a total revenue of £66.7 billion and make up around 3% of the UK’s GDP.
